Places to eat in Pamporovo

Pamporovo has several good restaurants that are famous for serving freshly cooked and delicious food.
Chevermeto restaurant is the oldest and most popular of them. The restaurant was opened in 1971. The food served here is traditional Bulgarian cuisine, mainly from the region of the Rhodopi Mountain. The most popular dish is cheverme, lamb on barbecue. There are also a lot of fresh salads and vegetarian dishes. There is live music; the restaurant has its own orchestra playing traditional folklore music and songs. Chevermeto has a special tradition of chopping the cooked lamb. The roasted lambs are cut in front of the guests of the restaurant every evening at 8. This is performed by the Chef, who is also the manager of the restaurant. The ritual lasts for about 30 minutes until all lambs are cut into single portions and served to the guests.

The White House is the newest restaurant in Pamporovo. It was opened in 2002. The house was built and designed as a Bulgarian traditional house. The food served here is typical for the region of the Rhodopi Mountain. The White House also has the widest variety of fish dishes in the resort. There is live music; an orchestra plays folklore music and songs. The menus are translated in English. The staff speaks English and other popular languages. The White House restaurant offers pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and the best from the local wines.
